Heather and Kyle at Allenton were super helpful when we were looking for a place to rent. Allenton is wonderful as they actually operate on a first come, first served basis- meaning if you apply first you'll be considered first. In our search we did not find that to be the case with every company. They let us know each step of the way what we could expect and were polite, professional, and prompt. When we ultimately signed a different lease they were quick to let us know how to get our application fee refunded. I would definitely recommend working with them if you can.

We were renters of a property that was managed by Allentown and they were awesome. Very responsive and always helpful.
We ended up buying the home we rented for 5 years and still call them for handyman recommendations.

Heather, Mark and the rest of the office staff are always on point. I've been a resident with them since 2018. Today started out not so great with a big tree limb on the property falling on my car and blocking me from getting to work. Gave the office a call and whether through skill or luck they had someone chopping up that tree and clearing a path for me to get out. I wasn't even late for work. While not always under 30 minutes they're always great at helping with maintenance issues.

Last August, We saw a property on zillow advertised by them, contacted them. They sent their requirements; pay stubs, credit scores etc. before even we toured the property. Sent whatever they required and called twice too (the agents werent nice at all, we got the impression as if we were being pushy). Afterwards nobody ever contacted again. (We meet income requirements and have exc scores)
My question is why asking so many things even before we tour property, maybe we didn't like it so what's the point of wasting so much of our time.
This came up now as I was checking for a friend and I saw their name on a property with all ridiculous requirements and application etc. Remembered all the fuss from last year.
There are a lot of landlords, real estate agents and housing offices who will not only answer you promptly and will let you make an appointment to tour property with just your ID and if you like to go with them then comes the application part and checks. Never experienced anything like that before. It was purely humiliating.Just my 2 words. STAY AWAY.
