Stay clear from renting with Clark Properties. Had the highest AC bill in my life when I moved out with one month left on my rent. We were not in the home at all and it was 40% higher than any bill I ever had at the property. We made sure to put the temp at a reasonable number when we left, but seems they brought it way down for the entire month. They refused to pay even a fraction of it or have any understanding. Their customer service was very poor as well which made our experience not pleasant. Overall not worth the fees and frustration.

We rented a townhouse with Clark Properties beginning in December of 2018 and moved out December of 2020. When we moved in, everything seemed relatively nice. The house was beautiful. Service was okay. Then when one thing started to go wrong, it took forever for someone to come out. And then another thing went wrong; same issue. Then we asked for our pool passes and didn't get them until close to the end of the season. We reported damage in the backyard of the house that was being caused by the weather that was never taken care of (that they later tried to charge us for) and then charged us an OUTRAGEOUS amount when one of the TOILET ROLL HOLDERS fell out of the wall (it was put into the wall with the most minimal amount of effort and fell apart on us) and we replaced it with a different one. One of their agents was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude with my wife on the matter as well. These people are absolutely terrible. Rent with someone else if you can. (Side-note: we haven't been tenants for over a year and they emailed me and my wife TODAY because of a current issue they are having with their tenants, so clearly they are unorganized as well).

I was took a role of a tenant while I was here. You get the benefit of a local business AND professional management. They know you first name bases, and provide a professional and safe service. They have never once entered without a notice. They are open about their communication with the owner and keeping you informed for a open repair request. The days I lived here were one of the most difficult ones in my life. I went through a lot. Staffs at Clark Properties of Raleigh and the owner were understanding and patient during those times. I am deeply appreciative of the service I received.
