I love this Real estate company! They showed me that there are good people left in this world! We haven’t had any issues with them since we have been renting from them! They make sure we have everything we need when we need it!
Do not rent with this company. They are rude and petty people. They will not fix any of your problems with your rental while you live there and the do not give the correct deposit back when you move out. They will even charge you for taking items that you purchased yourself. Slum lords!
I hired this company as property management for a house that we owned. Over a period of maybe 4 years..I tried to overlook the things that I had to do because they were not available. Ie go to the property to meet people to do repairs. I had to ride by the property to check to see if lawn mowed..gutters cleaned etc. I then had to request that the management had tenants comply. Please use caution when hiring. Please note that this Company only inspect property 1x and then maybe an annual inspection. They will do more but I was told it will be $75 for every time you want them to go more. I gave them one star because I couldn't give zero. The last straw was when the tenants had water damage in the unit and for whatever reason it was allowed to continue..resulting in over 25k damage...shower in bathroom had to be replaced. Kitchen cabinets had to be replaced ..floors etc. Wow..shocking...and we had a property management company. The owner of thisco.pant refused to ever talk to me....she just would not. Told me..that is why she has Gordon who blocked me...So who could I talk to.. To get damage fixed...it took 2 months with the water problem still causing damage. Had to have sub flooring fixed...the floor joust under house had to be fixed.. new insulation needed under house. The damage was so extensive that Servpro team contractors were shocked.....proceed with caution. I am just sharing our unbelievable experience. Please consider Highland Property Management company in Raleigh, NC...Owner Will is very accessible. He considers you as an investor. I am shocked at the attitude of Gordon and owner Vickie...I have now opened a formal complaint to address these issues with the Realty Commission. I had no other choice. I rate this company with a zero and no star...They basically collected 10% each month from rent collected and my house was destroyed.Again this company DOES NOT DO QUARTERLY INSPECTIONS UNLESS YOU PAY AN ADDITIONAL $75 FOR EACH ONE. THEY DON'T LOOK OUT FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF THE LANDLORD. I REALLY FEEL DISRESPECTED...BETRAYED AND ROBBED BY PEOPLE AT GATES THAT I TRUSTED WITH MY PROPERTY...WHAT DID I GET? OVER 20K IN DAMAGE...GORDON AND SHELIA HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IF HIRED A COMPANY TO MANAGE YOUR PROPERTY AND IT WAS DESTROYED? THE TENANTS FINALLY LEFT April 15, 2022 and it took two months For repairs to be made. WARNI G...PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
