Ashley has been an excellent community manager. She is knowledgeable and very prompt to address concerns and problems. It takes some getting use to dealing with management companies and the community manager is an important part of this process. I give her five stars.

Worst experience ever!!! This company is extremely unprofessional. They are pretty quick to send “violations” but whe you need something from them they don’t care. They only care that I pay my fees about $1000 a year so they can tell me what to do. A neighbor left a bike outside of my house without me knowing next think I have a violation notice. I applied to have my trash area gated and it took then about a year to approve. By that time I lost the contract with the company and I haven’t be able to find anyone else. I set up lights that were white on the siding you couldn’t tell were there. I have to put them down and the funny thing is the violation notice said I was offending people with my lights and that it wasn’t Christmas. If you let your grass grow just a little they send you a violation notice but yet they take forever to take care of the mowing part they are responsible for because we paid our dues so our community pays for it. Worst HOA ever!!! If I could give the option of zero stars I would. They don’t deserve any stars whatsoever.

We have had instances of bad communication with Henderson, and have had to fight as a neighborhood to resolve major issues with their style of management. They resolved the latest problem, so we will see how they continue to serve our HOA.

The most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with. I have waited WEEKS for a response to any question, if I get a response at all. The employees, especially Tianna and Heather, are extremely unprofessional. There is no excuse for this company to continue to keep these inept people employeed. I will be lobbying my HoA to switch from your company when our contract is up. These employees give your company an extremely bad name. I will do everything in my power to make sure our board of directors knows the terrible experience I had with your inexperienced and unprofessional employees.

This company is a disgrace. We moved into a DR Horton home last year and we’re given Henderson Properties as our temporary HOA. What a waste of our valuable money.
A few nights ago, a series of cars were broken into in our neighborhood. Though a police report was filed, I still sent an email to Henderson Properties because I wanted others in our neighborhood to be aware of the break-ins (seems reasonable, right?). In return, I got an email saying that it wasn’t Henderson Properties’s problem and to file a police report. Umm, what??? People in the community you supposedly “care so much about” are having their cars broken into, and your company can’t take 5 minutes to send out an email informing the members in said community? Wow. Apparently the members of the community don’t deserve to know when a crime has been committed in their own neighborhood.
On a similar note, Henderson Properties has the worst communication I’ve ever experienced with an HOA. No one even knew when our pool opened, and then they locked up all of our pool chairs without any explanation. Honestly, there was never an email about the pool closing, either. So I don’t even know if it’s still open. What kind of company cares so little about the members of its community that it can’t take 5 minutes out of the day to send an email to the members of its community informing those members of important information? Apparently Henderson Properties. I plan to send a detailed letter to DR Horton asking for them to find another HOA for our neighborhood, because Henderson Properties does not deserve to be an HOA.
