This attorney's involvement in my real estate transaction caused significant stress and unnecessary delays in receiving our sale proceeds. It was not my choice to hire this firm; they was the buyer’s closing attorney, thus I didn’t have any option but to have them issue my proceeds funds unless I turned down the buyer’s offer.
This law office refuses to wire funds (to protect themselves) and insisted that overnighting a check was the best option since I had relocated out of state. We strongly disagreed, and determined it was worth the added time and expense to fly back to Raleigh to pick up the check. Unfortunately the flight was canceled at the last minute, so we were stuck having the check sent by overnight mail anyhow due to limited options.
As feared, the package went missing and we spent multiple days trying to chase down a check and waiting for a resolution. It a was horrible feeling; my home was now sold, with others now rightfully living in it, but we have not been paid for it because of the attorney's inflexibility and preference on how we should receive our proceeds. It’s a shame that North Carolina even allows for attorneys to go rouge like this and self-righteously limit payment option to sellers.
Her refusal to wire funds like any other 21st century real estate attorney led to significant financial and personal loss during these days. Selling our home was a very special time for us, and this attorney's involvement soured the entire experience. I could not recommend this law firm less.

I am a realtor and work with Kendall Page's office at least monthly. They are a very skilled group and really care about making my clients' transactions run smoothly. I have personally transacted with Kendall Page for my own personal needs and I have always been struck by her uncanny ability to explain very complex things simply and succinctly. They are responsive and do an excellent job.

Kendall's firm is outstanding. My wife and I just completed our third interaction with Kendall and her team and we couldn't be more impressed with the transaction. Our lender even took a moment to share how overly impressed he was with Kendall's level of expertise. Although the team does a great job with closings-- Kendall really shines in her ability to creatively and efficiently solve complex legal hurtles often found in real estate.

My wife and I have worked with a number of closing attorneys in the past, and I think Kendall Page is one of the best closing attorneys out there. Not only was she and her team very professional, but they were also very courteous and explained each and every document to us.

Kendall is excellent! She will explain everything so you understand what you are signing. Very easy to work with, knowledgeable, doesn’t rush you in and out and would most definitely recommend to anyone closing on a home in the Chapel Hill or surrounding area!
