I’m not on here to be rude. The lady was very nice and the place clean but I got acrylic with gel and the paint is all over the side and the acrylic is very uneven on the top and sides. My daughter got gel and not even 4 hours later she had 2 just come off.
absolute worst customer service and manicure i’ve ever had done. the man named Jimmy that was working did my gel manicure cut my skin in 4 different places and when i asked him why he made me bleed he said “it was common curtesy to make your polish go on smoother”. i understand that cutting your cuticles helps with the process, however, the rushed service when there was no one there and his fidgety movements was not necessary. he was very aggressive with the tools and when i bled and verbally said “ouch” there was no empathy for when this was done. i called back and they hung up on me three different times. when i had asked for a refund Jimmy referred to me as “bro” and said that “we do not give refunds but we can fix it”. so i told him that i did not want it fixed that i was unhappy with the damage done to my skin and the only way he could fix it is if he was to reattach my skin. he also explained that the bleeding happens to cuticles that have never been cut before. on the contrary, they have been cut before and not one person has ever caused me harm or to bleed. there was no one there when we arrived and i understand completely why. i would like to add how completely unprofessional the staff is. Jimmy took offense to my complaint and made no apologizes. he is not receptive to constructive criticism and uses disrespect to costumers (as shown on prior reviews) to belittle them and make himself feel better.
Not impressed compared to most other salons. Only 2 people were working so it took awhile to get started. The lady was hurting my sister with absolutely no care. Then the man who done my nails was constantly insulting my mom. Who was asking about prices because the chart hanging on the wall said 1 thing, price list by the pedi chairs said another thing, and then the rude lady was telling us different prices. It took all but 10 mins to do our nails (but the lady’s in front of us were there for almost 45 mins) so not the best quality for sure. I 10/10 recommend Posh Nails or Envy Nails especially if you want ombré color scheme because this salon won’t do it. I’m sure the owner will respond with a nasty reply as he/she has done to everyone who said they will not return. Worse nail experience ever 🙄 Update: Day 4 and have a broke nail In response to the owner: 1• no one haggled prices. We were simply asking a question because I couldn’t make up my mind between SNS or gel polish. Wanted the price to make that decision wisely as we had never used your “salon” but never once did we try to get anything cheaper then the stated price. 2•”talking out loud to each other” she asked our opinion as the lady was seating my mom then proceeded to tell my mom she charging her $30 to paint her “real nails” 1 solid color…then changed her story to “we don’t paint real nails” maybe you should’ve helped with communication because there was an obvious language gap. But that was a ridiculous price considering a full set with polish was $35. My mom in her profession can’t have tips on her nails. 3• I’ve never been to a salon that doesn’t have “set prices” certain things you do is a certain upcharge which is fine with me 🤷🏼♀️ Your “salon can’t even ombré” which should’ve been my sign to not waste my money. But “blacklisted” I don’t care I would recommend everyone blacklist your “salon” But since my entire family (3 of us) was Karen’s I will do the proper Karen thing and take Karen steps with the BBB you need customers money to pay your bills remember that because you need to humble yourself.
Called and got me in quick! Very friendly as soon as I got there. He did an amazing job on my nails. Better than anyone else in Lincolnton. I’m very pleased with my nails. They are exactly what I wanted. He made sure to do the length that I wanted. I’m very happy with the outcome. The place was very clean and smelled good. He was quick as well and didn’t take forever. I will definitely be going back to this place.
This morning I stopped in to get my nails done because there was no cars in the parking lot, so that means no wait.. When entering, there was a man and woman and they just stood there looking at me, never one time greeted or asked what kind of service I was needing. So standing there awkwardly I ask if she had time to do a full set. the lady told me to pick out color and come take a seat (the way she said it was not very friendly or welcoming, it almost made me feel like she hated her job). So once I picked out my color, I asked if she could do 2 colors on my fingers and she said no, they would only do one color. Well I accepted her answer and then just asked if she could put gems or something on my ring fingers and she RUDELY said “no, I already said we do one color only” With that being said, I picked my purse up and left. The customer service here is HORRIBLE! Go to regal nails in Walmart! They were able to do everything I wanted and was super friendly!
