Not sure where to start. I have traveled over the past 20 years from city to city as my job required. I rented a home from Prism for 2.5 years and I can tell you it was quite an experience. Not in a good way! The process started by not having a pre-move in walk through. I have never moved into a place without having a walkthrough with the property manager. The house was allegedly "professionally cleaned", that was the first LIE! The home reeked of pet odor and the garage of rats! The master bathroom had so much smoke residue on the wall that it ran down the wall when you took a shower. I could not even use the two upstairs bedrooms due to the black mold in the bedrooms. NOTE: this was brought to their attention with no resolution. The owner had the roof replaced during my stay, total disaster! I could not get into my driveway for two days and picked up several nails in my truck tires after the construction was complete. The AC went out in the house and it was over two months before they fixed it. This list could go on and on, but the final straw came when I moved out. They sent over a moveout checklist that I followed intently. It took over two months to get my security deposit back and I did not get all of it back due to a trumped up damage! Of course this could have been avoided with a pre-move in walk through. In closing this is very SHADY group in Charlotte. Tonya\Brian are not to be trusted and I would not recommend using PRISM Properties if you can avoid them.
My sister and I decided to sell our Charlotte home. We chose Prism Properties because of their reputation for excellence. Garry (our agent) and Michael (the business owner) first met with us by phone in January (since I am on the west coast). We met up in person in February and came up with a plan to list the house in March. I cannot begin to tell of all the things Garry did to help us prepare for listing; rearranged the furniture to make sure the house showed the best value to the customer for highest sales price, supervised work done by the handyman inside and out, took tons of pictures to create a virtual tour. Garry knew what needed to be done and followed through which really took the burden of selling the house off our shoulders during midst of Covid -19. We were able to get the offer we wanted. Garry and Michael made the process of listing and selling our home a breeze. And to have a successful sale during a pandemic speaks to their expertise and willingness to go above and beyond for their clients. If you’re looking for realtors who will do their very best for you Prism Properties is it!
My husband and I have had the best experiences with Michael and his team, from renting a house from them, they were always on top of things to Michael being our realtor and helping us to find our new home as 1st time home buyers, he went above and beyond at times driving 2 1/2 hours to show us homes. We so appreciate everything you and your company have done for us!!!
My first contact with Prism Properties and Development was in October of 2020 while preparing to relocate from out of State to NC and searching for a home to rent. From submitting the email expressing interest in my current rental, through the application and approval processes, to present day; the experience has been absolutely wonderful! Because I was relocating from out of State, I was extremely nervous to be making a contractual commitment from so far away and had TONS of questions however, every email that I sent and every phone call that I made was answered promptly, with so much patience and a genuine desire to ensure that I was at ease. My husband and I are in a pickle looking for a rental home. We've searched all of over and I ran across Prism Properties and Development. I placed my request late in the evening and didn't expect to hear from them until the next day. NOPE, less than 30 minutes later my phone ring and it was Garry on the other end. I've been so nervous about finding a place but Garry's voice was so welcoming. We spoke and schedule a showing for the next morning. The next day, we met and the place was wonderful. It was such a pleasure meeting him. I felt a little weight lift from my shoulders. We had previously started the application process and right at the viewing we submitted the app. The office called back immediately. I'm still waiting to hear back but I must say I am IMPRESSED!!! I appreciate the customer service, the professional, and the real genuine spirit of I CARE. We all have been through a lot and it is nice to know that YOU are around helping families find a home. ♥️♥️♥️
