We moved from FL, where we own a house, to NC for academic purposes and became renters for the first time. We talked to Ms. Sandy Browning from the Cary office. She is very professional, caring, accommodating and honest – yes, honest, a quality in danger of extinction. We rented for over 6 years. We only have the need for extraordinary maintenance three times, and all those times the respond was within minutes. Their properties are well maintained and they have a strict preventive maintenance policy to keep them in top conditions. They have a web page where is easy to pay rent, request maintenance or just send questions or comments to your agent, which they are answered to your satisfaction in a timely manner. The price for their properties is fair. However, beyond the houses, maintenance and payments, their more important and impacting quality is their human touch. Here is where Ms. Browning excel and this is one of the most important features that makes this company attractive to be your landlord. When we bought our home in NC, Ms. Browning was very understanding and genuinely happy for us. She provided us with the right amount of time to complete the transition from one property to another. We loved renting from Rhyne Management. Our house was perfect for us during the time we lived there, any time we had an issue or something needed to be fixed it was done immediately. We had good communication with them and always felt like our needs were met!
My husband and I have been very pleased with Rhyne Management. They promptly respond to all maintenance needs. Although the house we rented is older, they strived to always keep things up to par. I am immunosuppressed so I was concerned at one point about some mold on the ceiling... They were there the same day to take care of the issue and were so considerate of my needs and concerns. The problem was fixed completely. Anyone in the company that we interacted with was always professional and kind to us. It was a very pleasant experience for us for the two years we lived in our little house rental. Thank you!
Having been both a tenant under Rhyne, and later a landlord, I can say that through the years, my experience with Rhyne has been far more positive than negative. Rhyne is a large management company with hundreds of properties to manage, so things can go wrong and problems occur, yet their response time to communication remains as quick as smaller companies or individuals. I have read the negative reviews, and anecdotal reports of mis-management, but this is neither my experience over the past 7 years, nor my observation at present. They hold currently to a high standard of integrity, and strive to make things right when they go wrong. In the end, you wont find a better combination of large company benefits combined with small company personality.
