Complete rip off do not use. Inquired on a place that was "still available " and almost immediately after paying the 70 application fee for 2 people it was no longer available and they did not reach out with a phone call or email. An absolute scam/RIP off. Use another realtor company or simply stay away from these thieves.
We have rented from this company for about 2 years. For the most part our experience has been less than okay. We have always paid our rent on time and we have taken care of the house like it is ours. To include making improvements on the inside and outside. When we have reported issues that needed to be taken care of repaired sometimes it would take more than one day to get it done and it would take a lot of conversation to get it even started. We do communicate with the homeowner quite frequency when issues did arise and that's when things were taken care of not by the Realty Management even when we first moved in there was several things that needed to be taken care of and was told about and it took three to four weeks for small things to be done which included the yard and trash left from the previous renters. Darlene came to do the walk-through when we closed with the house this experience proved to be easy non-stressful and she acted in a very professional courteous and took the time to go through all the details with us. I wish we would have had her when we first moved in to go through all this because we were always felt like we were rushed that what needed to be done was not not important and seemed to go unheard. Darlene was very thorough and she listened to all of our concerns and issues regarding the house as we were doing the final walk-through.I would recommend this company to other people as long as they kept an open communication with the company and was able to work with people like darling who took the time to go over the details of the house.
My husband and I move a lot and we never had any problems with renting a home, at least until we rented a house through Century 21 Southern Realty. The agency is unprofessional with a bad customer service. The agent who showed us the house didn't know how to answer any of our questions about the house. We decided to rent the house after we finally got the answers. The problems were just starting. The biggest problem is the washer and dryer situation. The listing stated that the washer and dryer are included with the house and we got a confirmation from the agent. After moving in, the washer and dryer were missing. It took a month (and a hundred calls and visits from our side) for the agency to find out if the washer and dryer were really included and what happened to it. No one cared enough to give us an update on the situation and when we would call and ask about it, they wouldn't have an answer. When they finally decided what happened to the washer and dryer, they supposedly ordered a new set, Yet again, no one cared enough to let us know. We found out after calling them to check on the situation and the answer was “Oh, nobody told you? We ordered a new set.” Of course they didn't know when the washer and dryer will arrive, but they think it's going to be here by the end of the month (by then it will be TWO months since we moved in). I don't have to explain how inconvenient it is not to have a washer and dryer for a longer time, especially with our busy schedules and no time to use a laundromat. I'm not even going to start about damage repairs and work that needs to be done after the previous attendees moved out. Not a single word about that yet, except “We're tracking it.” The military community in the Fort Bragg area is huge and there are always new people looking for a home. When you’re moving a lot, you want to find a place that’s going to feel like home from the day one and avoid dealing with situations like this. We will make sure to share our experience with Century 21 Southern Realty with other families looking for a home.
Southern Realty is wonderful! Each time I call everyone is helpful, professional and kind. The house we rent is wonderful and well cared for. Our leasing agent Julia was super.. I highly recommend this company.
The company is very responsive now and maintains great contact with the owners. Kim is especially friendly and always on top of the properties and the issues that may arise.
