I feel so grateful that I’m able say that my experience has been great. I have been using Chris and his team at Sunnon for about five years. I’m a travel nurse, therefore it was important for me to be hands off with the management of my house since I work all over the country. In the time I’ve worked with them, I’ve had some repairs, both minor and major. These were handled seamlessly with Sunnon facilitating communications and repairs. Further, the work they do is of good quality. They do thorough inspections to ensure the property is being treated well by tenants. They found tenants for me and the individuals they found were respectful to my property and the low turnover is appreciated. One specific staff member, Bronte, kept me informed about the happenings at my property in a concise but thorough matter, which I greatly appreciate. I have every intention of continuing to use their services for the foreseeable future.
The Sunnon team is absolutely amazing! They were gracious and patient and responded to my million and one questions promptly! They also provided great feedback and recommendations regarding the upgrades that were needed for my property. The final product was beyond the plans I originally had, but it was worth it because my property leased in a matter of days....amazing!!!! It feels good to know that the Sunnon team has my back and I can focus on other things rather than worrying about my property. I am so grateful that I found a awesome team to work with!
We have been extremely happy with Sunnon’s management of our multiple properties over the years. Chris and team have excellent systems in place to ensure the highest quality of property management. They are professional, friendly and responsive, focusing on both owner and tenant experience. Renovations have run very smoothly, with effective communication & guidance, and beautiful results. Their user-friendly portal further simplifies owner experience. Highly recommend!
Chris was very accommodating when I transitioned my property to Sunnon during Covid. The amount I was charged for the repair was over $18,000, which I later got a quote for for about half of that. The tenant they found was late 50% of the time, she was only there for 12 months. When Sunnon installed their floor, I went with the suggestion they offered, there were nails left in multiple places that were bulging the floor. So, the Company they hired did a very poor job. There was also glue spilled on the brand new flooring. Sunnon claimed they inspected it and I, myself, as an owner was not allowed to inspect it! I thought that was absolutely ridiculous. Subsequently, when my new tenants moved in they advised me of the nails bulging the floor and I had to hire someone to inspect the house to see if there is a foundation issue, as Chris suggested, and it wasn't. So, I called the Company Sunnon used for the flooring to fix it. They just came to take the nails out and apologized that their staff overlooked that. But Sunnon should have caught this. There were also a lot if issues that Sunnon tenant left that Sunnon did not charge them for - a broken back door lock, a broken patio piece and others. The prior tenant also had a sock stuck in the toilet, which ended up causing me $895 to fix. Again, Sunnon gave their deposit back without that consideration. I would NEVER recommend Sunnon.
By far the worst rental agency I have ever encountered. Hannah was the agent we were working with on a property specifically and the day we were finalizing payment/signing the lease/etc. and also the week before we were scheduled to move-in she sends an email that she has leased to another client. There was no warning or even a heads up that there was another offer to potentially speed up the process. When called and asked about the email, she then made us wait the entire day for a direct answer of whether we were still moving in to this location or not. She also continued to say she would reach out to us when more information was presented to her yet we only confirmed that the place had been leased from under us after our numerous calls to the business. Regardless of how nice the property appears and seem to be the best fit for you and your family, seriously take in to account the team you will be working with before moving forward.
